Philosophy Statement

  • The community of people who come together at Auckland Girls' Grammar School Childcare are committed to a continuing partnership which recognises the individual learner together with their Whanau and their teachers.
  • We create a dynamic early childhood care and education programme incorporating Te Tiriti O Waitangi alongside our emergent curriculum and the gifts of Te Whariki.
  • We celebrate children’s individuality and we provide an environment that supports and develops their learning as active participants through play.
  • The teachers at Auckland Girls’ Grammar School Childcare Centre work collaboratively in an atmosphere of good will, respect and trust, to ensure the centre is a well resourced, safe and healthy place.
