As an Inner City School Auckland Girls' Grammar School is well serviced by public buses from all parts of Auckland. Students who catch buses, which do not run along K'Road get off at Symonds Street and walk to school (approximately 12 minutes). There is also a connecting bus from the Downtown Railway Station to the School. You may find it helpful to call MAXX on 366 6400, to help you with determining the best route.
Please note that the timetables and bus routes below may be subject to some changes in 2011. If there are any changes we will advise you of these as soon as possible.
The Central/West Service, Route 202 and the South Service, Route 60 and 61, detailed below, are serviced by Stagecoach Buses and subsidised by the Auckland Regional Council.

Route 205, which is registered as a commercial route is also used extensively by our students. This bus leaves K'Road and travels along Great North Road, to Bond Street, then along New North Road through the Mt Albert Shops to Blockhouse Bay Road and then to Rosebank Road. In the mornings it leaves from the corner of Woodward and New North Roads at 7.55 a.m.

Tickets for the bus services detailed above can be purchased on the bus at the same price as those paid by students on any regular bus service. Year 9 students will be provided with Student ID Cards early in the first term and can use their current ID card to purchase bus tickets until then. Stagecoach is the provider of these services.
DEDICATED BUS FROM BRITOMART RAILWAY STATION BUS NUMBER 015 FROM PLATFORM D6
This 015 bus has a school sign and leaves from D6 at 8.15 am. each school morning. It does not stop until it reaches the school. On Wednesday it leaves at 8.40 a.m.
