Students in Year 10 are encouraged to choose subjects from each of the eight learning areas. Students study seven subjects in each semester, some as full year courses and some as semester (half year) courses.
Year 10 Compulsory subjects:
- English – (one of the three bands available)
- Mathematics – (one of the three bands available)
- Science
- Social Studies
- Health & Physical Education
Year 10 Option subjects available:
ARTS: Dance, Drama, Music, Visual Art
LANGUAGES: French, Japanese, Samoan, Te Reo Maori, Te Reo Rangatira
SOCIAL SCIENCES: Business Studies, Philosophy
TECHNOLOGY: Graphics, Design Technology (Food & Materials), Digital Technology
