AGGS Old Girls Honoured in Queens Birthday Honours List

Congratulations to two AGGS Old Girls who received awards in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
- Rosslyn Noonan – Companion of the NZ Order of Merit (CNZM) – Trade Unionist and Human Rights Commissioner from 2001 to 2011. Rosslyn’s significant impact in human rights has been felt both nationally and internationally through her lifelong dedication to supporting women, children, indigenous and minority culture groups.

- Patricia Broad – Queens Service Medal (QSM) Kew, Dunedin, for services to Gymnastics. Patricia was a student in the 1940s. We still have her gym dress which we use in displays of memorabilia. She has been a judge for Gymnastics New Zealand since 1977 and attained her international judges qualification in 2006. She has also coached a number of gymnasts who have represented Otago in the New Zealand Gymnastics Championships.
