Our Founding Day this year was another very special occasion where, in an AGGS tradition that began in 1992, we honoured two of our high achieving ‘Old Girls’ who returned to share their achievements with us at an assembly on 13 October. As a surprise on the day, we also paid a special tribute to our Principal, Liz Thomson, who, is retiring at the end of this year. Our special guests this year were Nirvana Health Care Director and finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, Ranjna Patel and Human Rights Lawyer, Golriz Ghahraman. In addition three current students received awards from our Old Girls Association. Congratulations to Eseta Tupouniua, Year 11, Scarlett Parkes, Year 12 and Bisma Maryam, Year 13.
