In AGGS’ March Video Profile, 2026 Head Girl Ryvah Cooper reflects on what it means to lead with purpose and why she feels so honoured to represent the school this year.
Ryvah shares that as a Year 9 student, she did not necessarily picture herself stepping into the role of Head Girl. Looking back now, she credits the process of showing up, working hard, and staying accountable for helping her grow into leadership over time.
At the heart of her vision for 2026 is a clear focus: leadership that includes everyone. Ryvah wants this year to be “everyone’s year”, not just for Year 13, and she is looking forward to working alongside the prefect team to ensure students across the school are met with equal opportunities to flourish and thrive.
She also speaks about the “legendary” AGGS sisterhood and the lifelong connections that students build here, bonds that extend beyond school and create a powerful sense of belonging. Ryvah highlights the importance of strengthening connections across cohorts, especially between Year 9 and Year 13, so the whole school feels united.
Ryvah’s message to younger students is grounded and uplifting: be your authentic self, be kind, work hard, and be responsible, because when you do, you can achieve what you want and more.
