International Fees

International Student Fees

At Auckland Girls’ Grammar School, the annual fee for international students is NZ$19,122.50. This includes:

  • Tuition Fee: NZ$17,062.50, payable in advance
  • Administration Fee: NZ$1,680
  • Application Fee: NZ$380 (non-refundable)

Please note that all fees are subject to annual review.

Homestay Fees

The annual Homestay Fee is NZ$18,400, payable in advance and subject to annual review. This fee must be paid into the school bank account along with the Tuition Fees upon acceptance of an offer of place. Additional fees include:

  • Homestay Placement Fee: NZ$580
  • Relocation Fee: NZ$350 (if a student needs to change her homestay family)
  • Living Expenses Distribution Fee: NZ$600 (if living expenses are deposited into the school account for distribution)

Designated Care Fees

For students living with an approved family member instead of a school-organised homestay family, the Designated Care Fee is NZ$1,600. These fees must be paid into the school bank account with the Tuition Fees upon acceptance of the Offer of Place.

Additional Fees Per Year (subject to change)

  • NZQA Examination Fees: $383.80
  • Uniform (Years 9–12): $650 + shoes
  • Medical Insurance: $700
  • Stationery: $150
  • Māori and outdoor learning activities: $300

Note: There may be additional costs per subject. 

Goods and Services Tax (GST)

All fees are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable.
