Meet AGGS' new Deputy Principal, Rebekah McLean.
Rebekah has just returned home to Aotearoa after 18 years teaching in London, where her most recent role was Deputy Principal of a large inner-city school in Camden.
A passionate believer in the power of education, she was the first in her family to attend university and has built her career around raising achievement for all students.
In this month's AGGS Video Profile, Rebekah shares why Auckland Girls' Grammar School felt like the perfect fit from her very first day, what drew her whānau back to New Zealand, and the deeply held belief that every student deserves the very best chance of success.
She joins fellow Deputy Principals Gavin Morgan and Helen Long, with Associate Principal Maree Flannery and Principal Ngaire Ashmore leading the AGGS Senior Leadership Team into 2026.
